Thanks to Sa Xerxa de Teatre’s Theater for Everyone project, which has the support of La Caixa Social Work, two social functions have been carried out as part of the children’s theater festival in Maó.
Last April 17, we visited the Carlos Mir Multipurpose Center and the Geriatric Center in Maó with the Magic show by Valencian Nacho Diago.
The Calors Mir Multipurpose Center is a center of the Foundation for Persons with Disabilities on the island of Menorca, which offers its fifty users basic tools so that they can develop their autonomy and functionality in their daily lives.
The geriatric residence in Maó caters to around seventy elderly people who are offered care services in order to improve their quality of life and respond to their needs.
Nacho Diago performed two very exciting functions, which were enjoyed by the users, the professionals who work in the centers, part of the Sa Xerxa team and the Teatre Principal de Maó.
The Teatre Per A Tothom project will continue next May, with a social function within the Barruguet Festival (Eivissa).
We continue to work to guarantee everyone’s right to participate in cultural life.
