Una carretada de contes, a small-format show where stories are the protagonists, maintains the style and aesthetics that define La Guilla Teatre company. It can be seen in the Pitiuses on December 23rd. The performance in Formentera will be at 12:00 in the Christmas booth located in la Constitució Square of Sant Francesc, as part of the Mininadal program. In the afternoon, the company will move to the Centre Cultural de Jesús in Santa Eulària des Riu, Ibiza, for the second performance at 7:00 p.m. The performances are promoted by the IEB in collaboration with the Ajuntament de Santa Eulària and the Consell de Formentera, and coordinated by Sa Xerxa de Teatre. Additionally, they will be for free.

Of versatile style, Una carretada de contes consists of a broad collection of stories that allows the thickness of the show to be modified according to ages, themes, and even holidays and significant dates of the year. The actors are Meritxell Morera and Pere Farran, who also takes care of the direction. The play is aimed at a family audience and has a duration of 50 minutes.

Synopsis
Two strange and very curious characters have arrived in the town, they seem like travelers, nobody has seen them before. They are Filigrana Gràcia and Joseph Tour. They are accompanied by their attractive, mysterious, and inseparable cart loaded with stories they have collected from all around over the years. If you open your eyes well and listen carefully, with great pleasure, they will explain to you the reason for their profession, the profession of Troubadours! With the surprises hidden in their cart, they win the sympathy of both young and old.

The company
La Guilla Teatre is a theater company aimed at children and families, created in 2011 by the two actors of Una carretada de contes, Meritxell Morera and Pere Farran. Its members are creators and builders of the productions, from the set design to the puppets and objects. The company’s shows have a clear vocation to entertain, with great creative generosity so that the little ones enjoy their first experiences with the theater, and with the clear intention of captivating the different generations of families, both the boys and girls, and the adults accompanying them.
